It’s a freshly engraved and moderately edited version of the Vacchiano edition of this great trumpet book. GBC binding means it lays flat on your music stand and the binding doesn’t give out like the old-fashioned saddle-stitch binding method. Reinhardt (1908-1989) loved and required it of all his trumpet students. Reinhardt often stated that it was “the best etude book ever written,” and even jokingly quipped that it was “the best thing the Russians ever gave us.” As an introductory offer, you can now get for $7.00, and if you enter the coupon code FreeShipUSA you can get free shipping in the USA.

This book is due back from the printer this coming Friday, January 22. The first books will go out on Monday the 25th, the same day this sale ends, so get it now while the gettin' is good. Thanks for your support of Boptism Music Publishing. _________________ ============== SandyJack2008 Veteran Member Joined: 24 Jun 2008 Posts: 138 Location: New Jersey, USA Posted: Thu Jan 21, 2010 4:40 am Post subject: Thanks! I am wondering what is different or advantageous about this version? I question whether there really needs to be a measure number for each measure? (Actually, for an etude, do you need measure numbers at all?) Also, why do the key signatures and accidentals look like they are hand written? That sort of hand written font looks kind of 'unprofessional' to my eye.

And numbering every measure saves precious time when zeroing in on specific measures.
