Inspired by our brother subreddit: audioengineering This subreddit is open to anyone to discuss, share and show their work, as well as ask questions towards anything concerning video production. From a dad with a camcorder to a professional engineer at the superbowl, or a small meeting room operator to a widescreen specialist, projectionist, LED wall engineer or a electrical video engineer.

All things video are welcome! Feel free to post anything you like from questions to pictures. Remember that no question is stupid and we work together to create a friendly community. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to messsage the moderators! We would love to make this a great and successful subreddit for all of us video engineers! * Quick link to:* Commercial audio, video, and control technologies All that is good (and bad) in the world of Crestron Many things audio!

CasparCG is currently being used or evaluated at a number of EBU broadcasters, including SVT, the BBC, DR, NRK and VRT. “Graphics and video play-out shouldn’t limit your production or kill your budget” says Niklas Woll- heim, responsible for the revamped studio design of Sweden’s three largest news programmes.

Kamus bahasa jawa. For post-production sound geeks in Games, TV, Film, and Broadcast Location sound AKA Production Sound Live sound world All your weird stories. We are currently looking into solutions for adding in a live clock/scoreboard into a live webcast of soccer and hockey games and I was wondering if anyone else here has experience in the area.

Ideally a software solution for under $2k that does full screen chroma output on one output going to the switcher, then control interface on the other output going to a computer screen for the operator. These are lower budget gigs so the simpler the better as the operator will likely be taking care of more than just this scorebug(but we expect the operator will manually have to keep track of time). We have macs and PCs already that we could repurpose for this. I have looked into scorekeepr and right now that looks like a good front runner, the main fault of it being text only, so no options to add in team logos, though it isn't a deal breaker. Also it looks like it was designed for 4:3 broadcast but I believe it could be made to work in 16:9 with the positioning options (we are 16:9 SD right now). Does anyone know of any good alternatives in the $2k and under range, or do you have any experience to share about scorekeepr? The main purpose of the production is to send the switched feed to the in-house video screens/jumbo tron, the switched feed is also sent to a computer with an SDI capture card that streams to neulion(our company doesn't actually handle the streaming portion, after the switched feed gets to the capture card it is out of our hands).

So we aren't really looking for solutions that integrate the streaming portion into the software. Right now the fans in the arena can see the score on the scoreboard below the jumbotron screens, but the web viewers don't have reference for the score and time other than what the play-by-play announcers say.

I think i get it: your Carbonite switcher output handles your jumbo-tron/in house feed duties. I'm assuming this part of the operation has been running in house for a while and doesn't really need any tweaking. Its the integration of Neulion web streaming now requires scoreboard for their PPV streaming platform reqs. If the scoreboard integration isn't critical to the in house feed, then having the used tricaster+livetext down stream could solve some of of your Neulion problems (a not so subtle jab at the Neulion group:-) best of luck) The tricaster will need to be turned on and setup initially, but then the bug op will run gfx with live text on a different laptop/machine via network. The tricaster will output dirty feed over SDI in SD 4:3 anamorphic. You can demarcate this at the Neulion capture card and call it a day.

Yeah, wirecast is probably a dead end for you as it won't output the gfx as an internal/external key. It simply integrates it into its streaming platform. Unless you can leverage Neulion to let you push rtmp to their CDN with your own Wirecast setup, instead of their (likely old computer with an antiquated capture setup) streaming hardware. Maybe i'm making some incorrect assumptions, and i'm likely being a bit snobby about Neulion, but I spent too many years working in that market space to hold my anonymous tongue now:-) • • • • •.
